6월31일 암호화폐의 시세는 8개당 2만8000달러대였으나 두 달이 지난 지금은 4만달러 이상 떨어졌다. 이에 주순해 테슬라가 보유한 비트코인(Bitcoin)의 가치도 5조원 가까이 증발했을 것으로 추정된다. 아직은 취득원가 준비 이익구간으로 전망되지만 만약 더 떨어지면 손실이 생길 것이다.

실제 비트코인(Bitcoin) 가격은 지난달 6만4000달러대까지 치솟으며 역대 최고가를 기록 두 직후 요즘 급락해 현재는 3만4000달러대에 머물고 있다. 세계 최대 가상화폐 채굴시장을 가진 중국은 지난 21일 류허 중국부총리가 당사자가 나서서 '가상화폐의 거래는 물론 채굴도 금지한다'고 밝혀졌다.

나비드 술탄 씨티 기관고객그룹 회장은 '현 시점에서 비트코인은 대체투자 상품'이라며 '만약 대중이 가상화폐 가격이 올라간다고 믿는다면 지불 수단으로서 가상화폐을 사용할 개연성은 낮아질 것'이라고 봤습니다. 다른 주요 금융사도 비슷한 진단들을 내놓고 있습니다.

이더리움(ETH)을 비롯한 대형 암호화폐도 암호화폐의 흐름에 발맞춰 반등한 뒤 소폭 하락했다. 이더리움은 바이낸스에서 전일 준비 13.28% 오른 2582달러, 업비트에서는 전일보다 1.40% 상승한 315만원에 거래되고 있다. 김치 프리미엄은 7% 수준을 기록 중이다.
